Daily operational forecast for August 10, 2020

The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for August 10, 2020 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 5 cyclones, 2 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts.

The emergencies associated with the disruption of life support services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport, flooding of low-lying areas are forecast: 

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Transbaikal Territory and the Amur Region (heavy and very heavy rains, wind speed increasing during a thunderstorm up to 20 m/s);

in the Ural Federal District, in the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions (very heavy rains, rainfalls, hail, wind speed increasing up to 27 m/s).

The accidents associated with disruption of life support systems, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Northwestern Federal District, in the Republic of Karelia (heavy rains, thunderstorms);

in the Volga Federal District, in the Republic of Bashkortostan (heavy rain), Perm Territory (heavy and very heavy rains, rainfalls, thunderstorms, wind gusts up to 20 m/s) and the Orenburg Region (heavy rains, wind gusts up to 20 m/s);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Republic of Crimea and Krasnodar Territory (wind speed increasing up to 23 m/s);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Republic of Ingushetia, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania and the Chechen Republic (heavy rains, hail).

The increase of thermal anomalies, single foci of natural fires (including counter fires of dry vegetation), foci and natural fires are forecast (caused by non-compliance with fire safety requirements; high fire hazard class, gusty winds):

in the Far Eastern Federal District (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Magadan Region, Kamchatka Territory and Chukotka Autonomous District);

in the Siberian Federal District (Altai Territory, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Irkutsk, Tomsk, Omsk, Kemerovo and Novosibirsk regions);

in the Ural Federal District (Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, Kurgan, Tyumen regions);

in the Volga Federal District (Saratov, Samara regions, Republic of Mordovia);

in the Northwestern Federal District (Murmansk Region);

in the Central Federal District (Voronezh, Kursk, Oryol, Lipetsk, Tambov, Tula and Ryazan regions);

in the North Caucasian Federal District (Stavropol Territory);

in the Southern Federal District (Republic of Kalmykia, Republic of Adygea, Republic of Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Astrakhan, Rostov and Volgograd regions, Sevastopol).


There is a possibility of landslide, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas of the North Caucasian and Southern Federal districts (the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory).
