Daily operational forecast for July 31, 2020

The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for July 31, 2020 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 3 cyclones, 2 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts.

The emergencies associated with the disruption of life support services, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport, flooding of low-lying areas are forecast: 

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the north-west of the Amur Region (Tyndinsky, Skovorodinsky, Zeysky municipal district) (very heavy rains, heavy rainfalls (in some areas up to 30-40 mm), thunderstorms, wind speed increasing during a thunderstorm with gusts of 15-20 m/s);

in the Siberian Federal District, in the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tyva, in the central and southern regions of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (heavy and very heavy rains, rainfalls, thunderstorms, hail, in some areas large hail, squally wind gains 15-20 m/s, in some areas up to 25 m/s).

The accidents associated with disruption of life support systems, all modes of transport, power lines breakage are forecast:

in the Ural Federal District, in the Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Tyumen regions (rains, thunderstorms, hail in some areas, wind gusts up to 18 - 20 m/s are expected);

in the Volga Federal District, in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Mari El, the Udmurt Republic, the Perm Territory, the Penza, Samara and Saratov regions (heavy rain, rainfalls, thunderstorms, wind gusts up to 18-24 m/s);

in the Northwestern Federal District, in the Republic of Karelia and the Republic of Komi, the Arkhangelsk Region (heavy rains, sometimes hail, during thunderstorms wind gusts of 15-18 m/s);

in the Central Federal District, in the Tambov Region (wind gusts up to 18 m/s);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Volgograd and Rostov regions (heavy rains, thunderstorms, hail, wind speed increasing up to 22 m/s).

The increase of thermal anomalies, single foci of natural fires (including counter fires of dry vegetation), foci and natural fires are forecast (caused by non-compliance with fire safety requirements; high fire hazard class, gusty winds):

in the Far Eastern Federal District (Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Buryatia, Chukotka Autonomous District, Magadan Region, Transbaikal Territory, Kamchatka Territory);

in the Siberian Federal District (Republic of Tyva, Irkutsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Novosibirsk regions);

in the Ural Federal District (Kurgan, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen regions);

in the Northwestern Federal District (Republic of Komi, Arkhangelsk, Murmansk Region);

in the Central Federal District (Belgorod, Voronezh, Lipetsk, Oryol, Ryazan, Tambov and Tula regions);

in the Volga Federal District (Republic of Mordovia, Republic of Tatarstan, Chuvash Republic, Ulyanovsk, Samara, Saratov, Orenburg regions, Penza, Perm Territory);

in the Southern Federal District (Republic of Crimea, Republic of Kalmykia, Rostov, Volgograd, Astrakhan regions, Krasnodar Territory, Sevastopol);

in the North-Caucasian Federal District (Republic of Dagestan, Chechen Republic).

There is still a risk of flooding of low-lying areas, household plots, and highways on the territory of the Republic of Altai and the Republic of Tyva, Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Ingushetia, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Chechen Republic, Krasnodar Territory, Bryansk and Yaroslavl regions.

There is a possibility of activation of landslide processes, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas of the North Caucasian and Southern Federal districts (the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory).
