Daily operational forecast for May 9, 2020

The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for May 9, 2020 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 5 cyclones, 2 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts. 

Due to the impact of severe weather phenomena, there is a possibility of emergencies associated with the disruption of life support services, flooding of low areas, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport:

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Republic of Ingushetia, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Stavropol Territory, the Chechen Republic (heavy rain combined with thunderstorm, hail, squally wind up to 25 m/s).

On the rivers of the Republic of Ingushetia, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Chechen Republic, there is high water level.

There is a possibility of incidents associated with disruption of life support systems, energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, and all modes of transport:

in the Far Eastern Federal District, in the Republic of Buryatia (precipitation of various intensities, wind speed increasing up to 15-21 m/s);

in the Siberian Federal District, in the south of the Taimyr municipal district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory (high wind, gusts of 22-27 m / s);

in the Volga Federal District, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Samara Region (wind gusts up to 20-24 m/s);

in the Southern Federal District, in the Volgograd Region (high wind);

in the North Caucasian Federal District, in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic and the Stavropol Territory (heavy rain, thunderstorm).

There is a likelihood of flooding of lowered areas, household plots, roads in the Perm Territory, the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District: Ugra, Kirov, Tomsk, Omsk, Sverdlovsk regions.

The increase of thermal anomalies, single foci of natural fires (including counter fires of dry vegetation), foci and natural fires are forecast in the Far Eastern Federal District (Republic of Buryatia, Transbaikal Territory, Amur Region); in the Siberian Federal District (Altai Republic (Kosh-Agachsky), Tuva (Erzinsky, Mongun-Taiginsky, Tere-Kholsky), Khakassia (Shirinsky, Bogradsky and Ust-Abakansky), Krasnoyarsk Territory (Emelyanovsky, Irbeysky, Karatuzsky, Krasnoturansky, Sayansky, Uzhursky), Altai Territory (Uglovsky), Kemerovo Region (Novokuznetsk), Novosibirsk Region (Kupinsky, Bagansky, Ust-Tarsky, Tatarsky, Chanovsky, Chistoozerny, Kuibyshevsky and Zdvinsky), Irkutsk Region (Kachugsky, Zhigalovsky); in the Ural Federal District (Kurgan, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk regions); in the Volga Federal District (Republic of Bashkortostan, Orenburg, Samara, Ulyanovsk, Saratov regions); in the Southern Federal District (Republic of Kalmykia and Crimea, Krasnodar Territory, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Rostov regions); in the North Caucasian Federal District (Chechen Republic (Shelkovsky district), Stavropol Territory (Aleksandrovskoe, Novoselitskoe, Budennovskoe, Levokumskoe, Neftekumskoe, Stepnovskoe, Kursk Region), which are caused by non-compliance with fire safety requirements; high fire hazard class, gusty winds.

There is an avalanche danger in the mountainous regions in the Siberian Federal District (in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Altai, the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tyva); in the Southern Federal District (in the Republic of Adygea, in the Krasnodar Territory).

There is a possibility of activation of landslide processes, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas of the North Caucasian and Southern Federal districts (the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory).
