Daily operational forecast for March 26, 2020

The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for March 26, 2020 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 3 cyclones, 3 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts.

Due to the impact of severe weather phenomena, there is a possibility of accidents related to the disruption of energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, life support services and all modes of transport:

in the Far Eastern Federal District (in the Transbaikal Territory, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and Amur Region there are snow, snowstorm, snow drifts, wind strengthening up to 18-23 m/s).

Due to the impact of adverse weather phenomena, there is a possibility of accidents related to the disruption of energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, life support services and all modes of transport:

in the Siberian Federal District (in the Taimyr District of the Krasnoyarsk Territory there are wind gusts up to 25 m/s);

in the Ural Federal District (in the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions there are wind gusts up to 20 m/s);

in the Northwestern Federal District (in the Arkhangelsk and Leningrad regions there are wind gusts up to 17 m/s; in the Komi Republic there are wind gusts up to 20 m/s; along the coast of the Nenets Autonomous District there are wind gusts up to 23 m/s);

in the Southern Federal District (in the Republic of Crimea and Krasnodar Territory there are wind gusts up to 20 m/s).

Due to the increasing daytime temperatures above freezing, abundant snow melting and, as a result, rising water levels, there is a possibility of flooding of low-water bridges and household plots in the Central Federal District (in the Kostroma Region); in the Volga Federal District (in the Orenburg Region).

In connection with the thawing, there is a risk of failures of people and equipment under the ice throughout the Russian Federation excepting the North Caucasian Federal District and Southern Federal District.

There is avalanche in the mountainous regions of the Siberian Federal District (in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Altai, the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tyva); in the North Caucasian Federal District (in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkar, the Karachayevo-Cherkess Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Republic of Dagestan); in the Southern Federal District (in the Republic of Adygea, in the Krasnodar Territory).

There is a possibility of activation of landslide processes, landslips, subsidence of soil in the mountainous and foothill areas of the North Caucasian and Southern Federal districts (the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Crimea, the Krasnodar Territory).
