Daily operational forecast for March 24, 2020

The operational forecast of possible emergency situations for March 24, 2020 on the territory of the Russian Federation is determined by the passage of 4 cyclones, 3 anticyclones and the atmospheric fronts.

Due to the impact of severe weather phenomena, there is a possibility of accidents related to the disruption of energy facilities, communications, housing and communal services, life support services and all modes of transport:

in the Far Eastern Federal District (in the Republic of Buryatia there are snow, strong, snowstorm in some areas, wind strengthening up to 18-24 m/s, decrease of air temperature by 10 degrees or more); in the Siberian Federal District (in the Taimyr municipal district of the Krasnoyarsk there are strong south wind, wind gusts up to 15-20m/s, up to 22-27m/s in some areas, snowstorm).

Due to the impact of adverse weather phenomena, there is a possibility of accidents related to the disruption life support services and all modes of transport:

in the Siberian Federal District (in the Republic of Tyva there are a sharp drop in air temperature, heavy and very heavy snow in some areas, north-west wind gusts up to 15-20 m/s, up to 25 m/s in some areas, icing ground surface on the roads);

in Ural Federal District (in Sverdlovsk Region there are heavy snow, icing ground surface);

in Volga Federal District (in the Republic of Tatarstan and Ulyanovsk Region there are heavy precipitation, wind gusts up to 22-24 m/s; in Nenets Autonomous District there are wind strengthening, with gusts up to 15-17 m/s, and along the coast of the northwestern part of Nenets Autonomous District wind gusts up to 25 m/s; in Murmansk Region there are wind strengthening, with gusts up to 15-20 m/s);

in Southern Federal District (in the Krasnodar Territory (Black Sea coast), in the Republic of Crimea, city of Sevastopol there are strong wind, sea waving).

There is a possibility of flooding of low-water bridges in the Samara, Kostroma and Orenburg regions.

In connection with the ice formation, there is a risk of failures of people and equipment under the ice throughout the Russian Federation excepting the North Caucasian Federal District and Southern Federal District.

There is avalanche in the mountainous regions of the Siberian Federal District (in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Altai, the Republic of Khakassia and the Republic of Tyva); in the North Caucasian Federal District (in the Republic of Kabardino-Balkar, the Karachayevo-Cherkess Republic, the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, the Republic of Dagestan); in the Southern Federal District (in the Republic of Adygea, in the Krasnodar Territory).
