On June 28, 2020, as part of the events dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, employees of the EMERCOM Main Office for the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Volga Regional Search and Rescue Unit of the Russian Emergencies Ministry climbed the top of Bolshoi Iremel.
The team went to the foot of the mountain on an all-terrain vehicle UAZ-patriot and two ATVs. Then their route to the top of the mountain ran along an eight-kilometer mountain taiga path. After 3 hours of recovery, rescuers were on target. In honor of the significant events of 2020, on the top of Bolshoi Iremel Mount, they unfurled the flags of 75 years of Victory and 30 years of EMERCOM of Russia, and also installed commemorative plaque.
Bolshoi Iremel Mount is the second highest peak in the South Urals, the peak of the mountain - 1582.3 meters above sea level. The mountain range is located in the Republic of Bashkortostan.
