On February 12, fire and tactical exercises were held in Yessentuki in the “Birch Grove” sanatorium and resort complex.
According to the plan, as a result of a short circuit in the conference hall on the 4th floor of the dormitory building, a fire occurred, and smoke was in the corridors and rooms from the 3rd to the 6th floor. The warning and evacuation management system did not work.
Fire and rescue units of the higher third rank quickly arrived at the place of the fire. Intelligence was conducted, and people were rescued in various ways.
To coordinate all actions of the services involved in the training, an operational fire-fighting headquarters was deployed at the site of the simulated fire.
At the end of the training, the personnel of the units conducted a review of the actions.
In total, more than 50 people and 10 pieces of equipment were involved in the exercise.
