On February 28, 2020, the IV International Scientific and Practical Conference, dedicated to the World Civil Defence Day, started at the Academy of Emergency Situations of Russia.
World Civil Defence Day is celebrated every year on the 1st of March.
Within the bilateral cooperation between the Ministry of Emergencies in 2019, a set of measures was implemented to assist member countries of the International Civil Defence Organization (hereinafter-ICDO). Joint efforts are aimed at strengthening and developing national civil defence systems based on advanced domestic technologies.
Changes to some orders of the Department are aimed at optimizing and digitalizing public services for certification of the right to manage small vessels, their state registration and examination.
On February 26, Alexey Shulgin, Head of the EMERCOM Main Office for the Kemerovo Region, awarded more than 30 people who distinguished in the duty, as well as those who showed courage and bravery and provided significant assistance in people’s rescue.
The square, located along Kremenchugskaya street in the Fili-Davydkovo district of the Western administrative district of the capital, now bears the name of an outstanding figure of Civil defence of the USSR and Russia, Lieutenant General Dmitry Ivanovich Mikhaylik. The corresponding resolution of the Moscow Government was signed on February 19, 2020.
On February 26, the Government of the Altai Territory held a coordination meeting under the chairmanship of the Minister of the EMERCOM of Russia Evgeniy Zinichev.
