Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 308 man-caused fires, respond to 279 traffic accidents and 23 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 82 explosive devices, including 1 aerial bomb, provide psychological support on 1 occasion.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in an apartment of a residential building in Presnensky District, the city of Moscow; in a ward of a drug abuse clinic in the town of Ivanovo;
- Disruptions in: cold water supply in Temryuk District, Krasnodar Territory and in the town of Lipetsk; power supply in the town of Lermontov, Stavropol Territory, in 5 municipal units of Ivanovo Region and Gryazovets District, Vologda Region.
Cyclone in the Mordovia Republic and Irkutsk Region;
Medical evacuation of a gravely ill child from the town of Ufa to Moscow;
Ensuring safety during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires.
