Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 314 man-caused fires, respond to 263 traffic accidents and 3 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 54 explosive devices, including 1 aerial bomb, provide psychological support on 7 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- A traffic accident involving two cars in Nanaisky District, Khabarovsk Territory.
A gas explosion in a house in the settlement of Oktyabrsky, Vanino District, Khabarovsk Territory;
Flooding of detached houses and yards in the settlement of Pregradnaya, Urupsky District, Karachay-Cherkessia;
A disruption in cold water supply in Gatchina District, Leningrad Region;
Ensuring safety during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia;
Spring floods in Russia;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires.
