Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 331 man-caused fires, respond to 207 traffic accidents and 3 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 49 explosive devices, including 1 aerial bomb, provide psychological support on 1 occasion.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in a detached house in Nizhny Tagil Urban District, Sverdlovsk Region; in a residential building in the town of Nefteyugansk, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area; in a house in the town of Lesosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory;
- A traffic accident involving a truck and a passenger minibus in Smolensk District, Smolensk Region;
- A power outage in Nanaisky District, Khabarovsk Territory.
A medical evacuation from the towns of Nazran, Vladikavkaz and Grozny to Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod;
Ensuring safety during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia;
Spring floods in Russia;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires.
