Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 302 man-caused fires, respond to 211 traffic accidents and 6 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 23 explosive devices, provide psychological support on 43 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- A fire in Port mall in the city of Kazan, Tatarstan;
- Disruptions in gas supply in the town of Sysert, Sverdlovsk Region and in sewage network in the settlement of Kadui, Vologda Region;
- A cyclone in Central, Volga and Ural Federal Districts.
A disruption in gas supply in Akhty District, Dagestan and a power outage in the settlement of Alatyr, Chuvashia;
Ensuring safety during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia;
Spring floods in Russia;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires;
International Exhibition – Integrated Safety and Security ISSE 2018.
