Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 302 man-caused fires, respond to 187 traffic accidents and 4 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 16 explosive devices, provide psychological support on 32 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in Komsomoll shopping mall in the city of Irkutsk; in 2 storehouses in Mytishchi Urban District and at the Chastsy refuse damp in Odintsovo District, Moscow Region; in an office of an administration building in Zamoskvorechye and on the 4th floor of an administration building in Preobrazhenskoye, Moscow; on the 3rd floor of a non-operated building in Kirovsky District and on the 7th floor of a dormitory in Kalininsky District, Saint Petersburg;
- Disruptions in cold water supply in the town of Lermontov, Stavropol Territory and in the town of Podporozhye, Leningrad Region; a power outage in the settlement of Alekseyevka, Samara Region.
Break in an oil-pipeline 12 km from the settlement of Nogliki, Sakhalin Region;
Disruption in water supply in the settlement of Domna, Kaliningrad Region;
Medical evacuation of a seriously ill child from the city of Grozny to a hospital in Yekaterinburg;
Ensuring safety during the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia;
Spring floods in Russia;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires.
