Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 289 man-caused fires, respond to 177 traffic accidents and 5 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 32 explosive devices, including 2 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 5 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: on an open ground of an enterprise in the settlement of Novochuguyevka, Maritime Territory; in a house in the settlement of Broshchovo, Bryansk Region; on an open ground on the premises of a plant in the town of Bakashikha, Moscow Region; in summer cottages and outhouses in the settlement of Priamursky, Jewish Auronomous Region;
- Collapse of a non-operational building in the settlement of Blagodatny, Kemerovo Region;
- Power outages in 2 districts in Leningrad Region, in 7 districts in Tula Region and in 3 districts in Kaluga Region.
Spring floods in Russia;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires;
Monitoring of air in the city of Moscow and Moscow Region.
