Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 298 man-caused fires, respond to 183 traffic accidents and 3 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 138 explosive devices, including 3 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 3 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Burning of dry grass in Amur Region;
- Fires: in a storehouse in the town of Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia-Alania; in a detached house in the town of Neya, Kostroma Region; on the first floor of a 5-floor building of obstetric-gynecologic department of a hospital in the town of Ufa, Bashkortostan;
- A power outage in the town of Kirishi, Leningrad Region; a disruption in cold water in the town of Spassk-Dalny, Maritime Territory.
Spring floods in Russia;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires;
Monitoring of air in the city of Moscow and Moscow Region.
