Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 331 man-caused fires, respond to 177 traffic accidents and 4 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 58 explosive devices, including 3 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 8 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: at an open ground on the premises of a lumber factory in the town of Kodinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory; on the roof of an industrial building in the town of Bogorodsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region;
- Power outages: in the town of Bilyuisk, Sakha (Yakutia); in Ivanovo District, Ivanovo Region; in Otradnoye and Bibirevo, Moscow;
- A disruption in gas supply in the settlement of Balezino, Udmurtia;
- A gas explosion in a house in the town of Chita, Transbaikalian Territory.
Relief operations after a cyclone in Volga Area, Central and Northwestern Russia;
A power outage in Nanaisky District, Khabarovsk Territory;
Spring floods in Russia;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires;
Monitoring of air in the city of Moscow and Moscow Region.
