Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 273 man-caused fires, respond to 201 traffic accidents and 4 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 8 explosive devices, provide psychological aid on 35 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Traffic accidents: involving two cars in Suna District, Kirov Region; involving a passenger minibus and a truck in the town of Elista, Kalmykia; involving a coach and a turck in Lazarevskoye District, Sochi, Krasnodar Territory; involving a minibus, a truck and a car in Unecha District, Bryansk Region;
- A fire at an oil and gas production enterprise in Almetyevsk District, Tatarstan;
- A collapse of a house in the city of Vladivostok, Maritime Territory;
- A power outage in the settlement of Ozyorskoye, Korsakov Urban District, Sakhalin Region.
Spring floods in Russia;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires;
Monitoring of air in the city of Moscow and Moscow Region.
