Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 279 man-caused fires, respond to 172 traffic accidents and 4 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 26 explosive devices, including 23 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 24 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in a metallic hangar and an outhouse in Maryina Roshcha, Moscow; in summer cottages in the settlement of Golokhvastovo, Moscow;
- Collapse of part of ceiling of an administration building in the town of Kurgan;
- A disruption in cold water supply in the town of Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol Territory and a power outage in the town of Ivanovo .
Response to a helicopter crash in the city of Khabarovsk;
Response to an oil spill in Balakovo District, Saratov Region;
Restoration of power supply in Ikryanoye District, Astrakhan Region;
Spring floods in Russia;
Provision of all-round assistance and support to relatives of the killed in plane crash in Moscow Region;
Monitoring of air in the city of Moscow and Moscow Region.
