Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 309 man-caused fires, respond to 166 traffic accidents and 1 accident on waterways, find and defuse 85 explosive devices, including 8 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 38 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in a warehouse in the city of Vladivostok, in a kitchen of a restaurant in a mall in the town of Nizhny Novgorod; in a shelter at a construction yard in an industrial area of Istra District and in a mental hospital in the town of Noginsk, Moscow Region; in a hangar-type warehouse in Kingisepp District, Leningrad Region;
- Disruptions in: power supply in two districts of Khakassia and gas supply in the settlement of Chapayevo, Dagestan.
Restoration of: gas supply in the town of Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad Region and power supply in Choya District, Altai;
Response to fire in a mall in the town of Kemerovo;
Spring floods in Russia;
Provision of all-round assistance and support to relatives of the killed in plane crash in Moscow Region;
Monitoring of air in the city of Moscow and Moscow Region.
