Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 283 man-caused fires, respond to 160 traffic accidents and 1 accident on waterways, find and defuse 1 explosive device, provide psychological aid on 67 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in a factory building in the town of Ulyanovsk, in a store buildings in Saint Petersburg; in a dormitory building in Biryulyovo-Zapadnoye District of Moscow; in a dormitory building in Timiryazevsky District of Moscow.
Response to fire in a mall in the town of Kemerovo;
Restoration of gas supply in the settlement of Chapayevo, Dagestan;
Collapse of roofing of a house in the settlement of Bazarny Karabulak, Saratov Region;
Traffic restriction for all kinds of transport on a section between the city of Vladikavkaz and the settlement of Verkhniy Lars of a Georgian Military Motorway and on a section of Buron – North Portal of Roki Tunnel on Trascaucasian Motorway;
Spring floods in Russia;
Provision of all-round assistance and support to relatives of the killed in plane crash in Moscow Region;
Monitoring of air in the city of Moscow and Moscow Region.
Response to gas explosion in a house in Belgorod Region.
