Update on plane crash in Moscow Region as of 5 PM on 12 February 2018

An Antonov An-148 plane en route from the Domodedovo Airport to the airport of Orsk crashed at 2:28 PM on 11 February 2018, 200 meters north of the village of Stepanovskoye, Ramenskoye District. The plane was carrying 71 people, including 65 passengers and 6 crew members. Residences of all passengers and crew members were found out.

As of 5 PM on 12 February 2018, rescuers combed 27 ha and found over 400 fragments of the plane, DNA samples were taken from 31 relatives of the crash victims. The second flight data recorder was found.

1,079 people and 203 units of equipment, including 520 people and 107 units of equipment provided by the Russian Emergency Ministry, are involved in search operation.
