An Antonov An-148 plane travelling from Domodedovo Airport to Orsk has crashed today in Ramenskoye District, Moscow Region near the settlement of Stepanovskoye. The plane was carrying 71 people, including 6 crew.
SAR operations are underway at the crash site.
Task forces and medical crews are now working in the airports of Domodedovo and Orsk to provide all necessary aid and support to friends and families of the killed.
Light towers have been wet up at the crash scene so that the operation can go on round the clock.
An airmobile team of the Tsentrospas, Leader Center, Emergency Ministry’s Moscow Region Directorate and Noginsk Rescue Center are working at the scene.
Emergency operations centers of the Emergency Ministry’s Central Regional Center and Moscow Directorate and a task force which includes representatives of the federal executive authorities are working.
The working group of the Governmental Commission headed by the Russian Emergency Minister has been held to set up tasks regarding round-the-clock SAR operations.
The Emergency Ministry has issued an emergency number where people can get all necessary information, psychological aid and support.
More than 400 people and over 70 units of equipment, including more than 350 people and 60 units of equipment provided by the Russian Emergency Ministry, are involved in the SAR operations.
