Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 359 man-caused fires, respond to 169 traffic accidents and 1 accident on waterways, provide psychological aid on 68 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- A traffic accident involving a bus and a car in the city of Stavropol;
- Disruptions in cold water supply in Tavda Urban Districts, Sverdlovsk Region and in the city of Perm; a power outage in the town of Voronezh;
- A fire in a house in the town of Birsk, Bashkortostan.
Relief operations at plane crash scene in Ramenskoye District, Moscow Region;
Situation on the Military Georgian Motorway and on Transcaucasian Highway;
Monitoring of air in the city of Moscow and Moscow Region;
Humanitarian assistance to the people in the Commonwealth of Dominica.
