Under Russian Emergencies Ministry's control

Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.

Work was organized to put out 340 man-caused fires, respond to 181 traffic accidents, find and defuse 1 aerial bomb, provide psychological aid on 14 occasions.

Measures were taken to mitigate:

-                 Fires: on a fishing vessel in the town of Murmansk; in a house in the settlement of Lvovsky, Moscow Region; in a house in the town of Astrakhan; in trading pavilions in Maryino District, Moscow;

-                 Traffic accidents involving: 2 cars in Shchyolkovo District, Moscow Region; a minibus and a truck in Kireyevsk District, Tula Region;

-                 Disruption in cold water supply in the town of Omsk;

-                 Disruption in heat supply in the towns of Smolensk; Tver and the city of Kazan.

Under control:

Restoration of cold water supply in the town of Perm;

Monitoring of air in the city of Moscow and Moscow Region;

Humanitarian assistance to the people in the Commonwealth of Dominica.
