Under Russian Emergencies Ministry's control

Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.

Work was organized to put out 290 man-caused fires, respond to 203 traffic accidents, find and defuse 7 explosive devices, including 3 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 4 occasions.

Measures were taken to mitigate:

-                 Traffic accident involving a truck and a car in Dzerzhinskoye District, Krasnoyarsk Territory;

-                 Explosion of a gas tank in a house under construction in Primorsky District, Saint Petersburg;

-                 Disruptions in: power supply in Ostrovnoy closed town in Murmansk Region; gas supply in Kuznetsk District, Penza Region; cold water supply in the town of Ivanovo and in the city of Vladivostok, Maritime Territory.

Under control:

Medical evacuation from Simferopol and Grozny to Nizhny Novgorod,Saint Petersburg and Moscow.

Restoration of heat supply and hot water supply in Zavolzhsky Distritc, Tver;

Monitoring of air in the city of Moscow and Moscow Region;

Humanitarian assistance to the people in the Commonwealth of Dominica.
