Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 319 man-caused fires, respond to 210 traffic accidents, find and defuse 11 explosive devices, provide psychological aid on 21 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- A gas explosion in a greenhouse on a private property in Shali District, Chechnya;
- Fires: in a non-operated building in the premises of an enterprise in the town of Nizhny Novgorod; in an electrical control unit of an enterprise in the city of Saint Petersburg; in an administration building in Severny District, Moscow;
- Traffic accidents involving minibuses in Georgiyevsk District, Stavropol Territory and in the town of Vladikavkaz;
- A power outage in the town of Kostroma.
A cyclone in Far East and Ciscaucasia of Russia;
Situation on the Military Georgian Motorway;
Restoration of cold water supply in the settlement of Zarechny, the town of Belaya Kalitva, Rostov Region;
Monitoring of air in the city of Moscow and Moscow Region;
Humanitarian assistance to the people in Philippines and the Commonwealth of Dominica.
