Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 349 man-caused fires, respond to 242 traffic accidents and 3 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 1 explosive device, provide psychological aid on 6 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in a detached house in the settlement of Komsomolsky, Kalachevsky District, Volgograd Region; in a detached house in the settlement Novoipatovo, Sysert District, Sverdlovsk Region; on attic of a 3-floor hostel in Preobrazhensky, Moscow;
- A traffic accident involving a petrol tanker at kilometer marker 76 of M3 Ukraina Federal Motorway in Narofominsk District, Moscow Region;
- A disruption in heat supply in the city of Krasnodar.
Restoration of heat supply in the town of Tver and gas supply in Tsivilsk District, Chuvashia;
Operation of Raspadskaya mine in Mezhdurechensk, Kemerovo Region;
A cyclone in Central and Volga areas of Russia;
Response to gas explosions in a house in the settlement of Novorudny, Orenburg Region and of a gas tank in a house in the town of Ust-Kut, Irkutsk Region;
Humanitarian assistance to the people in Philippines and the Commonwealth of Dominica.
