Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 392 man-caused fires, respond to 284 traffic accidents and 2 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 2 explosive devices, provide psychological aid on 28 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in a house in the settlement of Obolenskoye, Kaluga District; in a building under construction in the town of Mytishchi, Moscow Region; in a mall in the town of Orenburg; in a house in the town of Aldan, Sakha; in a house in the settlement of Surovka, Bashkortostan; in a house in the settlement of Stepnoi, Novosibirsk Region;
- Traffic accidents involving: a truck and a passenger bus in Vorotynets District, Nizhny Novgorod Region; a passenger bus in Zheleznogorsk District, Kursk Region;
- Disruptions in: heat supply in one district of Yekaterinburg; power supply in Kalmanka District, Altai Territory..
Gas explosion in a house in the settlement of Novorudny, Orenburg Region;
Response to cyclone in Central and Northwestern parts of Russia;
Flooding of a road in Partizanskoye District, Krasnoyarsk Territory;
Humanitarian assistance to the people in Philippines and the Commonwealth of Dominica.
