Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 330 man-caused fires, respond to 288 traffic accidents and 1 accident on water ways, find and defuse 168 explosive devices, including 1 aerial bomb, provide psychological aid on 2 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in a single-floor not operated building in the town of Chernogorsk, Khakassia; in a workshop at an oil refinery in the town of Saratov; in a detached house in the settlement of Sosnovka, Zubova Polyana District, Mordovia, in a 2-floor house in the city of Yekaterinburg;
- A traffic accident involving a bus and a car in Beskudnikovsky District, Moscow;
- Disruptions: in cold water supply in the city of Krasnoyarsk and in the town of Irkutsk;
- Collapses: collapse of a ceiling during dismantling of a not operated 4-floor building in the settlement of Tomskoye, Tomsk Region; collapse of brick façade of 2 sections of a 4-floor dangerous structure in the town of Penza.
Disruption of heat and hot water supply in 2 districts of Saint Petersburg;
A cyclone in the Far East of Russia;
Building of the 71st humanitarian convoy for Luhansk and Donetsk Regions of Ukraine;
Response to a gas explosion in a house in Udmurtia;
Humanitarian assistance to the people in Cuba.
