Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 340 man-caused fires, respond to 246 traffic accidents and 1 accident on waterways, find and defuse 23 explosive device, provide psychological aid on 5 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Collapse of a staircase in the building under construction in the town of Saransk, Mordovia;
- Disruptions in: power supply in the town of Spassk-Dalniy, Maritime Territory; heat supply in the city of Krasnoyarsk; power supply in two districts of Dagestan;
- Gas explosion in a building in the town of Elista, Kalmykia;
- Traffic accident involving a minibus and an ambulance car in Fili-Davydkovo District, Moscow.
Traffic restriction for coaches on R-297 Amur Federal Motorway (from 1,811 to 2,165 kilometer marks) and regional motorway between the settlements of Birobidzhan – Leninsk – Amurzet in Jewish Autonomous Area;
Response to cyclone in Moscow and Moscow Region;
Medevac of three gravely ill children from Anadyr and Khabarovsk to Moscow;
Response to a gas explosion in Udmurtia;
Monitoring of atmospheric air in Chelyabinsk;
Humanitarian assistance to the people in Cuba;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires.
