Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 371 man-caused fires, respond to 300 traffic accidents and 3 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 58 explosive devices, including 7 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 10 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Explosions of air-gas mixture: in a house in the settlement of Shalasi, Dagestan; in a house in the settlement of Armyansk, Crimea;
- Fires: in a house in the town of Anadyr, in a building, undergoing overhaul, in Moskovsky District, Saint Petersburg;
- Disruptions in: cold water supply in the town of Ulan-Ude; heat supply in the town of Krasnodar; gas supply in Temryuk District, Krasnodar Territory;
- Traffic accidents involving: 2 cars in Slyudyanka District, Irkutsk Region; a minibus in Yemelyanovo District, Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Response to a cyclone in Sakhalin Region;
Restoration of heat supply in Krasnoyarsk;
Humanitarian assistance to the people in Cuba;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires.
