Izhevsk rescue services, airmobile teams of the Emergency Ministry’s Udmurtia, Bashkortostan and Perm Territory, rescuers of the Siberian and Volga Regional SAR Units with SAR dogs and rescue equipment are working. The SAR efforts are carried out in shifts round the clock.
Specialists of the Emergency Ministry’s All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations with mobile diagnostic complex Struna started assessing structural soundness of the building.
Emergencies Ministry’s aircraft are on standby to carry out medeveac to specialized medical institutions.
15 temporary shelters were deployed for the evacuated residents. All the shelters have hot food and comprehensive aid to the accommodate people.
Policemen and rescuers accompany the residents to the undamaged apartments.
1,200 cubic meters of rubble were cleared out and removed, 23 overhanging slabs were removed.
All the residents are provided with the necessary aid, medical and psychological help. Special attention is given to children, people with disabilities and elderly.
More than 1000 people and 200 units of equipment provided by the Russian Emergency Ministry, were involved in the SAR operation.
