As of 2 PM Moscow time, SAR efforts continue at house collapse scene in Izhevsk. There are victims. Fire and rescue crews have evacuated the residents of the house. More than 200 people were saved.
Izhevsk rescue services, airmobile teams of the Emergency Ministry’s Udmurtia, Bashkortostan and Perm Territory, rescuers of the Siberian and Volga Regional SAR Units with SAR dogs and rescue equipment are working. The SAR efforts are carried out in shifts round the clock.
Specialists of the Emergency Ministry’s All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations with mobile diagnostic complex Struna started assessing structural soundness of the building.
More than 1,000 people and 180 units of equipment, including more than 670 people and 100 units of equipment provided by the Russian Emergency Ministry, are involved in the SAR operation.
