Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 288 man-caused fires, respond to 288 traffic accidents, find and defuse 46 explosive devices, including 1 aerial bomb, provide psychological aid on 3 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Traffic accidents: involving a tank truck in Yelizovo District, Kamchatka Territory; involving two trucks and a car in Uvat District, Tyumen Region;
- Grounding of a vessel in Beryozovo District, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Yugra;
- Fires: in a flat in a block of flats in the town of Surgut; in a shopping center in the town of Chekhov, Moscow Region; in a single-floor storehouse in the town of Mosrentgen and in a workshop of a non-operational production building in Lefortovo, Moscow;
- Disruptions: in gas supply in Petushki District, Vladimir Region; in water supply in the town of Ryazan; a power outage in ust-koksa District, Altai Republic.
Response to flooding in Kaliningrad Region;
Monitoring of air in Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk Regions;
Restoration of heat supply in the town of Nevyansk, Sverdlovsk Region;
Humanitarian assistance to the people in Cuba;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires.
