Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 284 man-caused fires, respond to 330 traffic accidents and 4 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 98 explosive devices, provide psychological aid on 31 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Disruptions in cold water supply in the town of Novaya Lyalya, Sverdlovsk Region and the town of Kimovsk, Tula Region, power outages in Solton and Krasnogorskoye Districts in Altai Territory;
- A fire on a third-storey of a hospital in the town of Pechora, Komi;
- A traffic accident involving a truck and a road-rail bus on a railway crossing in Ibresi District, Chuvashia;
- Hard landing of a light hydroplane in Ostashkov District, Tver Region.
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires.
