Russian Emergencies Ministry’s rescuers respond to traffic accident in Sverdlovsk Region

A traffic accident involving two cars and a truck happened in Yekaterinburg Urban Area on Polevskoy Road near the settlement of Shirokaya Rechka at 03:40 PM, 9 September 2017. There are injured.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s fire and rescue divisions and other emergency services took off to the scene immediately. Traffic was not restricted.

2 people were saved thanks to prompt actions of rescuers. Psychologists from the Sverdlovsk Region Directorate of the Emergencies Ministry provide psychological aid at the scene.

Over 60 people and 18 units of equipment, including 25 people and 7 units of equipment provided by the Emergencies ministry were dealing with the accident.
