Over the past 24 hours the NationalCrisisManagementCenter of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 262 man-caused fires, respond to 309 traffic accidents and 21 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 76 explosive devices, including 5 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 9 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Traffic accident involving a minibus and a car in the town of Irkutsk;
- Fires: in a house in the settlement of Dunaika, Bratsk Urban Area, Irkutsk Region; in a house in the town of Kostroma;
- Partial collapse of an outer wall of a house in the city of Rostov-on-Don.
Since 15 July – power outage in two districts of Tula Region;
Monitoring for atmospheric air in Sakha (Yakutia);
Since 19 June – search and rescue operation on LakeLadoga in Karelia;
Response to a cyclones in Russia;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires;
