Over the past 24 hours the NationalCrisisManagementCenter of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 262 man-caused fires, respond to 290 traffic accidents and 16 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 183 explosive devices, including 7 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 18 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: on a roof of a five-storey building in the town of Makhachkala, Dagestan; in a plant workshop in the town of Tula; in a building of a college in Donskoy District, Moscow;
- Traffic accident involving two minibuses in the Tsentralny District, Sochi, KrasnodarTerritory;
- Disruptions of: gas supply in the town of Derbent, Dagestan; power supply in 11 settlements of Ryazan Region;
- Flooding of yards and gardening houses in Ruza Urban Area, Moscow Region.
Since 19 June – search and rescue operation on LakeLadoga in Karelia;
Response to a cyclones in Russia;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires;
