Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 324 man-caused fires, respond to 235 traffic accidents and 1 accident on waterways, find and defuse 47 explosive objects, including 3 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 89 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in a furniture workshop in the town of Volzhsk, Mari El Republic; in a storage building in the town of Bataisk, Rostov Region; in a house in Novgorod District, Novgorod Region; in an unused building in Petushki District, Vladimir Region; in a storage building in Danilovsky District, Moscow;
- Cyclone in Central and Volga Federal Districts of Russia.
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires;
Spring flooding in the Russian Federation.
