Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 298 man-caused fires, respond to 193 traffic accidents and 2 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 404 explosive objects, including 3 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 89 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- A fire at an open ground of an enterprise in the city of Perm;
- A power outage in 2 districts in Yaroslavl Region;
- A disruption in heat supply in the settlement of Sobolevo, Kamchatka Territory.
Since 12 May – response to a cyclone in Transbaikalian Territory;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires;
Spring flooding in the Russian Federation.
