Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 336 man-caused fires, respond to 217 traffic accidents and 3 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 90 explosive objects, including 1 aerial bomb, provide psychological aid on 140 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- A fire in a house in the town of Balakhta, Krasnoyarsk Territory;
- Traffic accidents: involving a passenger bus and a car in the town of Kurgan; involving a passenger bus in Stupino District, Moscow Region;
- A power outage in Grozny District, Chechen Republic.
A disruption in heat supply in the settlement of Sobolevo, Kamchatka Territory;
Protection of settlements and businesses against wildfires;
Spring flooding in the Russian Federation.
