Over the past 24 hours the NationalCrisisManagementCenter of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 310 man-caused fires, respond to 192 traffic accidents and 4 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 14 explosive objects, provide psychological aid on 8 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in a storage building in Frunzensky District, Saint-Petersburg; in a ZIL plant, Danilovsky District, Moscow; in a one-storey workshop of a correctional facility in Emelyanovo District, Krasnoyarsk Territory;
- Jet fire on a pipeline of an oil processing plant in the city of Khabarovsk;
- 4 traffic accidents involving 15 vehicles in Korocha District, Belgorod Region.
Since 18 March – traffic restriction on a section of the R-21 Kola Federal Motorway (from 1470 to 1510 kilometer marks) in Murmansk Region;
Since 17 March – situation on the Military Georgian in North Ossetia Alania;
Spring flooding in the Russian Federation.
