Over the past 24 hours the NationalCrisisManagementCenter of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 283 man-caused fires, respond to 216 traffic accidents and 4 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 23 explosive objects, including 2 aerial bombs, provide psychological aid on 29 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: in a recreation center in the city of Kazan, Tatarstan; in a house in the city of Moscow;
- Separation of an ice-floe with fishers on it in Sverdlovsk Region;
- Heat supply disruption in the town of Biysk, AltaiTerritory and the city of Krasnoyarsk.
Since 17 March – situation on the Military Georgian in North Ossetia Alania;
Spring flooding in the Russian Federation.
