Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 318 man-caused fires, respond to 152 traffic accidents and 2 accidents on waterways, find and defuse 3 explosive objects, provide psychological aid on 17 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- Fires: on the premises of KuybyshevAzot facility in the town of Tolyatti, Samara Region; on the roof of a house in the town of Urengoi, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area; in the basement of a house in Presnensky district, Moscow;
- An explosion of a gas tank in a detached house in the settlement of Kazachye-Malevanny, Krasnodar Territory;
- A slide of a snow mound in Kabansk District, Buryatia;
- A traffic restriction on a section of Kola federal motorway Pechenegsky District, Murmansk Region.
Since 13 March – restoration of power supply in the city of Makhachkala, Dagestan;
Monitoring of air in the city of Omsk;
Spring flooding in the Russian Federation.
