Fire in Tolyatti, Samara Region taken under control

A fire broke out today at 10:15 AM (Moscow time) in 2 cyclohexane processing units of the Kuybeshevazot plant, located at 6 Novozavodskaya Street, the city of Tolyatti, Samara Region.

As of 04:00 PM (Moscow time) fire on a square of 500 square meters is taken under control.

According to preliminary information there are no casualties.

Mobile station for monitoring of atmospheric air was deployed on the scene of the accident, exceedence of maximum permissible concentration of contaminants is not registered.

More than 230 people and 44 units of equipment, including more than 100 people and 26 units of equipment with 2 fire fighting trains among them, provided by the Russian Emergencies Ministry are involved into mitigation of the accident.
