Over the past 24 hours the National Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry organized work to ensure functioning of control bodies, managing their forces and facilities as part of crisis management system on all the levels of the Single State Disaster Management System.
Work was organized to put out 311 man-caused fires, respond to 214 traffic accidents and provide psychological aid on 28 occasions.
Measures were taken to mitigate:
- A fire in a house in the town of Megion, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area;
- A traffic accident involving a truck at a railway crossing in Mozhga District, Udmurtia;
- Disruptions: a power outage in Pallasovka District, Volgograd Region; a disruption in heat supply in the town of Taganrog, Rostov Region and in cold water supply in the town of Lipetsk.
Since 16 February – restoration of cold water supply in Krasnobkinsky District, Samara;
Since 12 February – search operations at the crash site of a private helicopter in Turochak District, Altai Republic;
Since 9 February – traffic restriction for heavy haulers on the section of the Military Georgian Motorway between the city Vladikavkas and the settlement of Lars in North Ossetia Alania;
Since 28 January – assistance to Chile in fighting wildfires.
