The forecast of possible emergencies on 2 June 2018 is determined by 7 cyclones, 2 anticyclones and the effect of atmospheric fronts.
There might be disruptions in normal functioning of the society, operation of transport, power supply facilities, communication, housing and utilities in the Republic of Buryatia, Irkutsk, Kurgan and Tyumen Regions – rains, patchy downpours, thunderstorms, hails, high winds of up to 25-30 m/s.
In the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) on 2-3 June:
- High water levels and floods will remain in the Yasachnaya river (near the settlement of Verkhnekolymsk) and in the Kolyma river (near the settlements of Srednekolymsk and Zyryanka), the settlement of Kolymskoye can be flooded;
- Water levels will keep rising in the Beryozovka river (near the settlement of Beryozovka) and Lake Nalimskoye (near the settlement of Nalimsk), Srednekolymsk District and flooded areas will keep on increasing;
- Water level in the Yana river may hit a dangerous point and flood the settlement of Ust-Yansk.
There is a high risk of wildfires spreading to settlements and areas of wildfires getting larger in Transbaikalian Territory, Amur Region, the Republic of Buryatia and south Khabarovsk Territory.
There are rockfall risks in mountainous Ciscaucasia, Adygea, Krasnodar Territory (mountainous areas of Sochi).
