The forecast of possible emergencies on 10 April 2018 is determined by 3 cyclones, 5 anticyclones and the effect of atmospheric fronts.

No emergency situations caused by dangerous weather are forecast.

There are high chances of higher water levels in rivers, flooding of low-lying areas, local roads, low-level bridges and ice jams in Siberian Federal District (the Altai Republic, Khakassia, Altai Territory, Krasnoyarsk Territory), south Far Eastern FD (Maritime Territory, south Khabarovsk Territory, south Sakhalin and Amur Regions, Jewish Autonomous Region), Tatarstan and Mordovia, Voronezh, Tambov, Kursk, Smolensk, Lipetsk, Ulyanovsk, Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Oryol,  Volgograd and Rostov Regions.

Tomorrow the situation may get worse in Alekseyevskaya District, Volgograd Region due to higher water levels in the Buzuluk River and in Rudnya District, Saratov Region due to higher water levels in the Tersa River.

There is a high risk of wildfires spreading to settlements, energy facilities, power towers and areas of wildfires getting larger due to the forecast of high winds of up to 18 m/s in Transbaikalian Territory, up to 15-20 m/s in Maritime Territory, Amur Region, in Jewish Autonomous Region.

Bad weather causes risks of breaks in power and communication lines, disruptions in normal functioning of the society, in operation of transport in Tuva, Karelia, Altai Territory. Wind gusts of up to 17-22 m/s.

There is avalanche risk in North Ossetia Alania (Alagir District), Dagestan (Bezhta District, Tsunta District, Tlyarata District), Karachay-Cherkessia (Zelenchukskaya District, Karachayevsk Urban District), Kabardino-Balkaria (Elbrussky District), Krasnodar Territory (mountainous areas of Sochi).

There is a higher risk of fishermen and vehicles falling through thin ice at waterways in Maritime Territory (Amur Bay, Ussuri Bay, Peter the Great Gulf), Khabarovsk Territory (Strait of Tartary), Kamchatka Territory (Bering Sea, Lake Nerpichye), Krasnoyarsk Territory (Krasnoyarsk Reservoir, reservoir of Beryozovskaya Heat Power Plant, Yenisei River), Sakhalin Region (Mordvinov Bay, Gulf of Patience, Sea of Okhotsk), Magadan Region (Taui Bay, Gertner Bay, Nagayev Bay), Leningrad Region (Lake Ladoga, Vyborg Bay, Gulf of Finland, Volkhov Bay, Svir Bay).
