Heavy snowfalls with snowstorms in some places, sleet sticking to wires, icy conditions are expected in some districts of Vladimir, Lipetsk, Moscow, Oryol, Ryazan, Tambov and Tver Regions, while wind gusting up to 18-19 m/s is expected in Vladimir, Voronezh and Lipetsk Regions in Central Federal District;
Wind gusting up to 18-20 m/s with snowstorms in some places are expected in Mordovia, Tatarstan, Kirov, Penza, Samara, Saratov and Ulyanovsk Regions and freezing weather with minimum temperatures of 31 degrees below 0 at night and in the morning are forecast for Orenburg Region in Volga Federal District.
There is a higher risk of fishermen falling through thin ice at waterways Buryatia, Maritime and Khabarovsk Territories, Murmansk, Leningrad, Novgorod, Tver, Smolensk, Kaluga, Tula, Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Rostov, Samara, Saratov and Orenburg Regions.
There is avalanche risk in North Ossetia Alania (Alagir District), Dagestan (Tsunta District), Karachay-Cherkessia (Zelenchukskaya District, Karachayevsk Urban District), Kabardino-Balkaria (Elbrussky District), Krasnodar Territory (mountainous areas of Sochi), Kamchatka Territory, Sakhalin and Murmansk Regions.
