Sandin Sergei Vladimirovich

Mr. Sandin was born on 1 December 1970 in the settlement of Kotelnikovo, Volgograd Region.

In 1995 he graduated from the Vershinin’s Higher Military Air Force Pilot School in Barnaul and in 2004 he graduated from Kuybyshev’s Military Engineering University.

1995 - 1998 – service in the Air Force of the Russian Federation;

Since 1999 – works in the Emergencies Ministry.

Since 1999 to 2012 served on senior positions in the territorial branches of the Emergencies Ministry in Siberian Federal District (excluding the period from 2001 to 2004 during education in Military Engineering University).

Since 2012 – Head of Emergency Prevention Office in Civil Defence Department.

Since 2015 – Deputy Head of Civil Defence Department.

Since November 2016 – Head of the Air Rescue Technologies and Unmanned Aircraft Department.

Since 2017 - Acting Head of Aviation - Head of the Aircraft and Air Rescue Technologies Office.

Personally headed and took part in numerous humanitarian and rescue operations.

Has state and departmental awards.

Mr. Sandin is married and has three children.
